Name: Northern Gannet (Morus bassanus)
Location: Atlantic coasts
Attribute: Plunge dives into the sea from a great height, recorded at 40m (130 feet), but possibly up to 100m (330 feet)! They have several body modifications to enable them to hit the water from this height with the accumulated speed, including air sacs in the skeletal system.
